Welcome to our Blog!
Remember the movie The Truman Show from 1998 and how bizarre it seemed that somebody's entire life was broadcast out to millions of viewers, unbeknown to the star of the show? Ten years later, many of us have willingly opened up our lives, in varying degrees, to the curious eyes wandering the Internet. And while our viewers may not be in the millions, there are just enough friends and family out here in cyberspace, all sharing experiences with each other, that no matter where we may be living, we need not feel alone or isolated. Kendra and I love reading about our friends experiences, viewing photographs of our friends in far away places, and watching video of those we don't see often enough. We hope you will enjoy our Blog.
Since Elizabeth was only about a month old last Easter, this year was her first time celebrating the big day. Our celebration with Elizabeth was strictly pagan, we'll get to the meaning of Easter when she is a little older.
Coloring Eggs

Elizabeth wasn't too interested in coloring the eggs, and maybe that is because she was firmly secured in her high chair. We gave her a plastic egg and that kept her occupied for most of the activity.

The finished product. The dye kit wasn't that great, at least that is what we told ourselves when we saw how horrible some of the eggs looked.

Easter Dinner
Okay, so the presentation is pretty basic, but it was an A+ meal. Kendra cooked her first ham and it was a beauty. We also had sweet potatoes, fruit salad and green beans.

Mmmmm

Looks like you guys had a fun Easter. I love the look on Elizabeth's face when she realizes the stuff in the basket is for her! So cute!
