Welcome to our Blog!
Remember the movie The Truman Show from 1998 and how bizarre it seemed that somebody's entire life was broadcast out to millions of viewers, unbeknown to the star of the show? Ten years later, many of us have willingly opened up our lives, in varying degrees, to the curious eyes wandering the Internet. And while our viewers may not be in the millions, there are just enough friends and family out here in cyberspace, all sharing experiences with each other, that no matter where we may be living, we need not feel alone or isolated. Kendra and I love reading about our friends experiences, viewing photographs of our friends in far away places, and watching video of those we don't see often enough. We hope you will enjoy our Blog.
Elizabeth's one-year birthday is a week from Friday and she is graduating to a forward facing car seat. The last month or so, getting Grizz into her car seat has been kind of tricky due to her height. We removed all of the extra padding to give Grizz a little more wiggle room, and even then it was quite a task getting her in. Wearing a puff coat? Forget about it!
Lucky for us, a coupon was in the paper for 10% off any car seat at Babies R Us so we seized the opportunity and made the purchase last night. We haven't installed the car seat yet so Elizabeth was able to play with it today. As much fun as Elizabeth had with her new toy, we will see how much she enjoys it on her first road trip to California.
